Blok Freight was born in 1992 with one man, one van, and a mission to deliver with care and commitment. What started as a local delivery run in Lismore has grown into a thriving, family-run logistics operation with over 65 staff, two depots, and partnerships with major national carriers.
Rooted in honesty, hard work, and strong family values, our business continues to grow — now evolving into Blok Freight, a proud reflection of our family name and a bold step forward led by the next generation.

1992 – One Man & One Van
Laurie McLeans begins solo deliveries around Lismore CBD, starting with blood runs to the hospital. Humble beginnings as McLeans Freight (MFS).
Mid '90s – Daughter joins in
Leisa is doing her Dad’s books—just a ledger and love. From day one, it was always family first.
Late '90s – Business Expands
From Lismore to the whole region. A team of six forms and the shed becomes HQ. We're growing.
2000s – Partnerships Form
We join forces with Australian Air Express, later StarTrack. Trust builds, and so do deliveries.
2020s – 65 Staff, 2 Depots
From our home to two full depots and 65 amazing people. Still proudly local, now nationally connected.
New Sites in Progress
Developing 10,000 sqm in Lismore and 3,000 sqm in Murwillumbah. The next generation of freight starts now.
